Ms Vella joined the bank in November 2013 and continuously worked her way up. She served as Retail Manager prior to her latest appointment.

Before joining the bank, Ms Vella spent upwards of three years serving as an Insurance Executive at Jatco Insurance Brokers PCC Ltd.

The newly appointed Manager holds a Bachelor of Commerce, an Executive Masters in Business Administration, and an MSc in Strategy, Leadership, and Change Management.

Founded in 1910, APS Bank nowadays prides itself in being one of the oldest banks in Malta and a leading provider of financial services.

Earlier this month the bank marked a significant milestone in its long history after opening and closing its Initial Public Offering (IPO) of new ordinary shares on the same day.

The IPO saw APS offer 100,000,000 ordinary shares for sale and an additional 10,000,000 new ordinary shares via an over-allotment option. These were priced at €0.62 per share.
