Malta and Krakow-based international iGaming studio Kalamba Games appointed Nicola Magro to the role of Head of Legal in a bid to significantly bolster the company’s accelerating growth strategy.

Dr Magro is a qualified Maltese lawyer with over 10 years of experience. Her specialisation lies in commercial law with focus on business, licensing, corporate, gaming, regulatory compliance, AML (anti-money laundering), and legal consultancy for all aspects of business.

“With consistent growth and the entering of multiple regulated markets comes the need for strengthening our talented team,” Steve Cutler, CEO and Co-Founder of Kalamba Games said.

“Nicola brings with her a wealth of knowledge and skills and will be hugely valuable in supporting our roadmap for 2022 and beyond. I’d like to welcome her warmly and wish her all the very best for her career with us,” he continued.

The company said that Nicola’s skill-set, as a law graduate of the University of Malta with a Master’s degree in knowledge-based entrepreneurship will be ‘a huge asset to Kalamba as it approaches its fifth anniversary and continues to increase its industry standing.’

Thanks to its diverse portfolio of titles, Kalamba Games continues to enter new markets and expand its global footprint. The company was also recently awarded its Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) license.
